100 Gram PAMP Suisse Fortuna Veriscan Gold Bar (New w/ Assay)

Fortuna held numerous positions in ancient Roman culture. Her most notable incarnation was as the Roman goddess of fortune. However, she was also considered the personification of luck, both good and bad, in ancient Roman religions. As the daughter of Jupiter, many considered Fortuna as sharing in her father’s bountiful nature (Copia, in Latin). She was also depicted as Annonaria, a protector of grain supplies.

Like Justice in modern societies, Fortuna is often depicted with a blindfold or veil covering her eyes. On the obverse side of the PAMP Suisse Fortuna 100 Gram Gold Bar is a depiction of Fortuna, complete with a blindfold and a cornucopia atop her head. Her clutched hands hold the wealth of her bountiful cornucopia.

The reverse side of each bar bears engravings that include the corporate logo of PAMP Suisse, as well as the bar’s weight, metal content, and purity. An assayer’s mark and individual serial number are engraved on every PAMP Suisse gold bar.
