The coins in this release feature proof visuals with frosted designs and mirror-like elements around the edges of the design field. Both sides have a black pearl finish in the background behind the design elements. The coins come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity from the mint.

In 1878, the US silver dollar returned to production with a new design from George T. Morgan. The combined designs of Lady Liberty and the heraldic eagle were featured on the coins annually through 1904, with the design returning in 1921. On December 28, 1921, the new Peace Dollar design replaced the Morgan and would remain in production annually through 1928, with a final two-year issue in 1934-1935.
