The Seymour Panther is the first proof coin design available in the Tudor Beasts Series.

The House of Tudor is one of the most infamous ruling dynasties in the history of the English crown. The house was formed in 1485 by Henry Tudor, the leader of the House of Lancaster. Henry Tudor defeated King Richard III, the reigning king and leader of the House of York, at the Battle of Bosworth. With his victory, Henry Tudor took the throne as King Henry VII and married Elizabeth of York, daughter of Edward IV. His marriage unified the Houses of Lancaster and York, forming the House of Tudor and launched a dynasty that would rule until 1603.

Obverse features on the 2022 10 oz Proof British Silver Tudor Beasts Seymour Panther Coin include an effigy of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. This effigy shows the Queen at the age of 89 and is the fifth-generation portrait of the Queen from Jody Clark.
