The release of the 2-Coin Designer Set is a celebration of the history of the American Silver Eagle and its direction into the future. The set offers a 2021-dated Type 1 coin with the heraldic eagle design, as well as a 2021-dated coin with the new bald eagle design from Emily Damstra. Both coins are reverse-proof specimens with mirrored design elements and frosted background fields.
All of the 2021 Reverse Proof American Silver Eagle 2-Coin Designer Sets come with individual protective slabs for each of the two coins. Both coins earned near-perfect PR69 grades from the PCGS. This means the coins have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor flaws. To qualify for this grade, those flaws must be outside the primary focal points of the coin. First Strike coins are those received by the PCGS for grading inside 30 days of the original release.
On the obverse of 2021 Reverse Proof American Silver Eagles in the Designer Set, you will find Walking Liberty. This left-profile portrait shows Liberty walking toward the sun on the horizon as she extends her right hand and carries branches of oak and laurel in the other.
