2021 2 oz British Virgin Islands Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver Coin (Ultra High Relief, Box + CoA)

Each 2021 2 oz British Virgin Islands Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver Coin available here is protected inside a plastic capsule and set within a black presentation box from the Pobjoy Mint. The coins also come with a Certificate of Authenticity. The ultra-high-relief strike delivers greater visual depth to the background field and enhances the 3D visuals of the design strikes on each side.

Silver dollar coining had ended in the United States in 1904 with the Morgan Dollar the design in production at the time. Silver dollar coining remained dormant through the 1900s and 1910s, with the resumption of coining authorized after World War I ended in 1918. The program returned in 1921 and the historic Morgan Dollar was again struck as the US Mint sought a new design for the series. On December 28, 1921, the new Peace Dollar design went into production.

The obverse of 2021 British Virgin Islands Morgan and Peace Dollar Silver Coins features an image of Queen Elizabeth II. This design is exclusive to the Pobjoy Mint and shows the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem on her head.
