The Perth Mint issues the Australian Gold Pig Coins in eight different weights and two different versions, including bullion and proof. For the Australian Gold Pig bullion coins, the Perth Mint has a mintage cap set only on these 1 oz gold coins, with a total mintage set at just 30,000 coins in total. The other coins come with unlimited mintage figures, indicating the mint will strike them to meet demand through the end of 2019.
All 2019 1 oz Australian Gold Pig Coins are available to you in either individual or bulk purchase options. The individual coins are housed inside of protective plastic capsules. Orders of multiple coins come in either sealed rolls of 20 coins or within a sealed box of 100 coins, which contains five rolls of 20 coins.
On the obverse side of 2019 1 oz Australian Gold Pig Coins, you’ll find the fourth-generation image of Queen Elizabeth II. Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, this effigy of Her Majesty was created in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, and in 2019 the Lunar Series II coins are the only major bullion coins from Perth Mint to continue with this design in order to maintain continuity within the collection.
