Australian Silver Kookaburra Coins have been available from Perth Mint since 1990. When the series debuted, the 1 oz silver coin was the only option in the series. Over the course of time, Perth Mint has expanded the series to include 10 oz and 1 kilo options on an annual basis in the BU range, as well as proof and high-relief proof coins.
The Lunar Series collections from Perth Mint started in 1996 and include three different iterations as of 2020. The Lunar Series dates are represented each year on 1 oz Silver Kookaburra Coins in the form of privy marks.
